What should I pack?

Firstly, start by make sure you have a good base layer, look for long-sleeved tops and bottoms- preferably labelled ‘thermal’. Then you need to get your mid layer; jumpers made from wool, fleece or synthetic materials designed to trap warm air could be good options. Your final layer, the outer layer, should be waterproof and insulating. Most resorts offer places to rent Arctic thermal suits, which are designed for extremely cold weather. Arctic snow boots are also usually available to rent; these are a must with some warm, woolen socks. And don’t forget your gloves! Waterproof gloves with glove liners are definitely recommended. Top Tip: if you’re travelling with children then brightly coloured hats are a good idea, making them easier to see!
